Body found on Browne Street viaduct, police investigating

A body was found under the railroad bridge over Browne Street  in downtown Spokane at about noon Tuesday. 

The Spokane Police Department’s major crimes unit is investigating, said Lt. Terry Preuninger, a department spokesman.

The caller who reported the body said it appeared the person was already deceased, Preuninger said.
