Josh Perkins keeps adding to his record collection.

The senior point guard surpassed Matt Santangelo as the program’s single-season assists leader. Perkins had five assists against Florida State on Thursday, bumping his season total to 228, three more than Santangelo in 1999-2000. Perkins moved past Santangelo as the school’s career assists leader during the regular season.

Perkins has played in 15 NCAA Tournament games, another GU mark. Silas Melson is second at 14. Perkins is now the 11th Zags player to hit 100 career points in tourney games. He has 134 career wins, three shy of former teammate Przemek Karnowski’s Division I record of 137.

Junior forward Brandon Clarke rejected five shots against FSU, bringing his season total to 115. He’s the new WCC single-season blocks leader, edging past San Francisco 7-footer Hondre Brewer’s 114 in 1999.

Clarke became the first player with at least 15 points and five or more blocks in consecutive NCAA Tournament games since Kansas center Jeff Withey in 2013.
