Key moment

Gonzaga broke it wide open with an 11-0 spurt midway through the first half. Rui Hachimura scored the last seven points, capped by a fastbreak dunk while being fouled. Johnathan Williams’ dunk and Zach Norvell Jr.’s layup started the run that hiked GU’s lead to 34-17.

Offensive player of the game

Killian Tillie is on a shooting roll. The sophomore forward made 10 of 11 shots – his lone miss was a jump hook that slid off the right side of the rim – and all 5 of his 3-point attempts for the second straight game. He had 26 points in 26 minutes before exiting midway through the second half.

Defensive player of the game

USF point guard Frankie Ferrari has been one of the best players in the WCC but he never found his stride against the Zags. Senior guard Silas Melson and company – Zags’ bigs were outstanding at challenging Dons’ guards when they dribbled into the lane – limited Ferrari to nine points and two assists. He made just 3 of 10 shots.
