Gonzaga has dominated Loyola Marymount during Mark Few era

The top-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs head to Los Angeles for their 89th meeting with the Loyola Marymount Lions.

Gonzaga has a 65-23 advantage in the series. The Zags have defeated the Lions 15 consecutive times and have lost once to LMU in the last 21 meetings.

Head coach Mark Few is 36-3 against Loyola Marymount in his career.

Earlier this season, Gonzaga cruised to a 93-55 victory over the Lions on Jan. 12. Przemek Karnowski scored 17 points, Zach Collins added 15 and Silas Melson had 13 to lead the Zags. Six Bulldogs scored in double digits.

Last year in Los Angeles, the Zags eased to a 92-63 victory over the Lions on Feb. 4. Kyle Wiltjer scored 23 points and Domantas Sabonis recorded his 13th double-double of the season.

Loyola Marymount has not beaten Gonzaga since Feb. 18, 2010. The Lions won 74-66.

Gonzaga is 25-14 at LMU.

The Bulldogs won the first meeting between the schools 86-72 on Dec. 5, 1973.
