Gonzaga returns home following Thursday night’s victory at BYU to play the 88th all-time match against the Santa Clara Broncos.

Saturday night’s game with SCU will be the first time a top-ranked team has played at the McCarthey Athletic Center.

The undefeated Zags own a 57-30 series record over the Broncos, and have won 37 of the last 39 games, including 13 straight. Santa Clara has not defeated Gonzaga since January 20, 2011, and has not won in Spokane since 2007.

Under head coach Mark Few, the Bulldogs are 37-4 versus SCU.

Earlier this season, the Zags cruised to an 88-57 win over the Broncos at Santa Clara. Przemek Karnowski scored 19 points on only seven shot attempts, and Zach Collins scored 16 points in the win.

In Spokane last year, the Zags won, 84-67, behind seven 3-pointers from Kyle Wiltjer, who scored 35 points.

All-time, the Bulldogs are 29-6 in Spokane and have won nine straight at home against SCU.

The Broncos won the first match between the two schools, 67-62, on February 3, 1959.
