Thanks for the Memory: Spokane Songbirds Sing a Tribute to Mildred Bailey - An evening featuring jazz vocalists Julia Keefe and Heather Villa, local group Mama Doll and the Mukogawa Women’s Ensemble. The event will highlight local participation in National and International Jazz Appreciation Month, with proceeds from the show supporting the work of the Holy Names Music Center in Spokane. Jazz legend Mildred Rinker Bailey, a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, was raised in Spokane, where her brother Alton Rinker played in a local band with Bing Crosby. Reigning Cats and Dogs Auction - The event will include a pet pageant, silent and live auctions, treasure hunt, raffle and appetizers and desserts.
