Jolie on her kids: It’s all good

Angelina Jolie (Associated Press / The Spokesman-Review)

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made their first public appearance since the birth of their twins, attending the New York premiere of Angie’s new flick, “Changeling,” on Saturday.

London’s Daily Mail says Jolie conceded that she’s “exhausted” dealing with her six kids.

And, she said, she gets so little time alone with Pitt.

“Even if we lock the door, the children come knocking,” she said.

“But it’s fun, and it’s lovely,” Jolie insisted. “The thing about having six kids is once you’ve passed three or four it’s so crazy anyway that it’s just more chaos, and it’s all OK.”

He’s just another Palin rider

Clint Eastwood told People a joke. “I was at a function, and a bunch of political types were there,” Eastwood said. “John McCain was there. He came up to say hello, I said, ‘Look, don’t even ask it. I will not be your vice president. I have to be on the top of the ticket.’ ”

Stars turn out for Stern

OK, you can breathe now. Shock jock Howard Stern, the radio talker known for hosting porn stars, married longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky on Friday at Manhattan’s Le Cirque restaurant. Actor Mark Consuelos, an ordained minister and husband of Kelly Ripa, officiated. Most surprising, the 180 guests included Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel, Steve Schirripa, Chevy Chase, Tommy Mottola, and Donald and Melania Trump.

Another Jackson gets ill

Janet Jackson’s tour, her first in North America in seven years, isn’t going well. On Monday, Jackson, 42, canceled her fourth show in less than a week because of an undisclosed illness. She hoped to perform in Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday, but a doctor advised against it, according to a statement from Jackson. She also canceled concerts in Boston and Philadelphia on Wednesday and Thursday. Her publicist said only that she was “recuperating.”

The shrooms musta been bad

Speaking of sickness, rock icon Meat Loaf wasn’t feeling well on Monday during the Q Awards ceremony in London. Loaf, 61, was unsteady on his feet and spoke incoherently when he accepted the classic song award for “Bat Out of Hell.” A rep said he had “vertigo.”

That’s a knee-slapper

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, who will host the American Music Awards for the fifth time, is humble. Orly Adelson, president of Dick Clark Productions, called Kimmel “a masterful host with incredible spontaneity and wit; audiences can expect a great night.” Kimmel’s reply: “I agree with Orly completely.”
