Rockies 6, Marlins 3: At Miami, Aaron Cook allowed five hits in 7 2/3 innings and Colorado beat Florida. Garrett Atkins doubled home three runs for the Rockies.

Nationals 6, Reds 3: At Washington, Ryan Zimmerman’s three-run double was the biggest hit in the Nationals’ big fifth inning, and Washington beat Cincinnati.

Cardinals 6, Pirates 4: At Pittsburgh, two misplays by Pirates catcher Ronny Paulino in the same at-bat helped St. Louis score the go-ahead run in the sixth inning, and the Cardinals held off the Pirates.

Braves 12, Astros 4: At Atlanta, Kelly Johnson had four hits, including two homers, and Jeff Francoeur and Brian McCann also hit home runs as the Braves beat Houston.

Cubs 7, Phillies 3: At Chicago, Jacque Jones made up for a fielding gaffe with an RBI double in the sixth inning, leading the Cubs to a victory over Philadelphia.

Brewers 4, Mets 2 (13): At Milwaukee, New York’s bullpen cost Tom Glavine his 300th win, and Geoff Jenkins hit a two-run homer off Aaron Sele in the 13th inning to give the Brewers a victory over New York.

Diamondbacks 4, Padres 0: At San Diego, Chris Young and Stephen Drew hit two-run homers and Arizona beat the Padres. The Padres got only one runner to third base and two others to second.

Giants 3, Dodgers 1: At Los Angeles, Barry Bonds went 0 for 2 with two walks in San Francisco’s victory over the Dodgers.
