United Methodist offers classes

Community United Methodist Church will offer two new classes on Sunday during the ‘Tween Time Studies Hour between worship services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Classes are, “How to Manage Your Money,” an in-depth study by author Larry Burkett on God’s principles for money management, and “Attitude is Your Paintbrush…It Colors Every Situation.” This class is presented by author James W. Moore and focuses on how attitude affects everyday living and how to turn negative pessimism into positive optimism. Classes include video and workbook instruction. Continuing classes include, “Five Love Languages” by Dr. Gary Chapman, designed especially for but not limited to couples, and “Called to Be God’s People,” which explores the application of Biblical message to everyday life. Biblical Financial Stewardship four-week mini-series classes will be offered Sundays at 8 a.m. through April 24 in the Real Life Ministries 2 Building, upper room, 1866 N. Cecil Road, Post Falls. For information, contact Sandy at 777-7325, ext 158. Also Sunday at 1:30 p.m. is an informational meeting regarding “J-Crew,” a hip-hop outreach ministry for teens. Celebrate Recovery classes will be at Real Life Ministries Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the RLM 1 Building. Weekly Women’s Step Study is Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in RLM 1. Information: 777-7325, ext. 107.

Living word Presbyterian Church in Athol hosts mid-week Bible studies on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at the church, 28177 N. Clagstone Road. Information: 683-1638.

Fishing Clinic and Dinner will be April 9 from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Real Life Ministries 2 auditorium presented by Al Lindner of the “Lindner Angling Edge” television series. Tickets: $15. Call for information, 777-7325, ext. 178.

Authentic Italian Spaghetti Dinner and Bake Sale will be next Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at St. George’s Catholic Church, 2004 N. William St., in Post Falls.
