Pocket dog park

Just south of the ball courts, tucked against the base of Tubbs Hill, is one of the smallest dog parks you’ll find in the region. But it’s large enough to have separate areas for small breeds and larger dogs. The Kootenai County Dog Park Association raised money to add the dog park to the McEuen design. You’ll find no grass here; instead, the surface is decomposed granite. The drinking fountains entail a tipping bucket that keeps the water fresh. And there’s lots of big rocks where pooches can stop and check their pee-mail.
