An atmosphere of elegance

In its day, the Davenport Hotel and restaurant served some of the best food in Spokane. The hotel was the finest lodging between Seattle and Minneapolis, and exquisite ingredients were shipped by train. The Davenport was renovated a decade ago. The former restaurant could not be saved, so the owner lifted out the building’s historic Hall of the Doges and set it aside in a wooden crate, reinstalling it in the new banquet hall.
