Boise State won its third Fiesta Bowl tonight, 38-30 over Arizona, after a rollicking first half that featured this Jay Ajayi touchdown (AP/Idaho Statesman photo by Kyle Green), a Statue of Liberty play that also led to an Ajayi touchdown, a sterling performance by senior quarterback Grant Hedrick, and a nail-biter of a second half after the Broncos had pulled ahead 21-0 in just the first 10 minutes of the game. The score was 31-17 at halftime; but the only Boise State TD in the second half came on Donte Deayon's 16-yard interception return late in the third quarter.
